Geovert Expands US Team: Welcoming New Talent

We are delighted to announce a significant expansion of our United States team. This growth marks an exciting chapter in our company's journey, bringing fresh perspectives and invaluable expertise to our operations. We're proud to introduce four exceptional professionals who have recently joined our team, each set to make a substantial impact on our business.

Lincoln Grody has stepped into the role of Business Development Manager, bringing a unique blend of business prowess and industry experience. With degrees in Civil and Construction Engineering from prestigious institutions, Lincoln's educational background is complemented by years of hands-on experience in sales management and business development with industry leaders like Hilti Inc. and Mainmark ground engineering.

Lincoln is at home in the outdoors and having skied, surfed and climbed all over the US, so it is only natural that he would have a passion for addressing climate change and geohazard mitigation. This passion combined with his commitment to community service and outdoor education, make him an invaluable addition to our team.

"I'm excited to be a part of the Geovert team and look forward to many successful projects in the future!" John shared upon joining. His passion and energy have already made an impression, with CEO Anthony Teen remarking, "John, great to have you on the team, and thanks for finding a local CrossFit gym for the team in the Denver office and dragging me there on my visits!"

Bolstering Our Delivery Team

Geovert US Superintendent Dylan Battaglia

Dylan Battaglia steps into the role of General Superintendent, bringing an impressive two decades of frontline leadership experience to Geovert. His comprehensive involvement from bid phase through planning and construction promises to provide invaluable continuity to our specialised natural hazard mitigation projects.

Dylan's background includes pioneering work with the Janod rockfall team, where he helped develop techniques now widely adopted across North America for geohazard management. His extensive experience spans every US state and territory, covering residential, infrastructure, and mining projects.

As a leader, Dylan embodies Geovert's core values, with a deep commitment to his team that drives our outstanding health and safety practices across the entire delivery team.

Expanding Our Engineering Expertise

We welcome Hannah Thomas as our new Project Engineer. Hannah graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in geological engineering which sparked a passion for geotechnical and geological work. Her career journey has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the field, from hands-on subsurface investigations and laboratory testing to engineering design.

Hannah's diverse experience across various industries, with a particular focus on geohazards and construction, makes her an important addition to Geovert. Her ability to combine engineering, geology, and construction in real-world applications aligns perfectly with our project needs.

Beyond her professional expertise, Hannah's passion for outdoor activities and nature reflects the values we cherish at Geovert. Whether she's weightlifting, rollerblading, birdwatching, or hiking in the mountains, Hannah brings an energy and enthusiasm that resonates with our team culture.

Hannah shared her excitement about joining Geovert: "What excites me most about working at Geovert is the chance to be part of a company that's pushing boundaries and expanding in such meaningful ways. The team culture is fantastic, and I'm so excited to showcase the incredible work we do to the world as we take on more geohazard and ground improvement projects in the US."

A Word from Our CEO

Anthony Teen, Geovert's CEO, expressed his enthusiasm about the team's expansion: “I am very encouraged to see such outstanding new people joining our team in the US to support our exciting ongoing growth. We continue to invest and increase capacity to meet our customers’ needs and to support growing recognition of the Geovert brand as the leading provider of geohazard mitigation and mining ground support solutions. It is with gratitude that I reflect on the outstanding results delivered on US projects and our dedicated team of men and women in the field who pull on the Geovert overalls and make it happen.”
